This is a 225g and it’s already getting on the small side for my arowana. The dimensions are 72 x 30 x 24

It wasn’t readily available and it didn’t and doesn’t bother me. Time was of the essence. So, to each their own. As for resealing it again soon. That hasn’t happened. Lastly, resealing the bottom, again. Wasn’t necessary. Experience is key, watch and learn, instead critiquing what you would do differently. That’s the beauty of it. Proper filtration, regular maintenance and I don’t overfeed.

It’s all good Tim, I’m definitely keeping the saltwater to a minimum. Too much work and too expensive. With 3 ponds and 18 aquariums I really need to keep things easier and affordable, so I can actually enjoy the hobby.

@@JJvon-x8u silver sides tilapia or if you want to give it a nice treat every once in a while I’d get a salmon fillet and cut into 4 inch by 1/2 inch strips or whatever size you prefer salmon is high in fat so only feed 1-2 times per week until your comfortable feeding more idk what size your arrowanna is but salmon will pack on the pounds for sure Cleveland also has videos on diy foods with beef heart and other ingredients be sure to check those out too

And what type of high protein pellets could I feed mine and could I leave them in my 220 for about 3 to 4 years and then upgrade them when there around 2ft

Build one. And nope. It’s not necessary when doing a 50 - 70% water change on aquariums bigger than 55 gallons. Experience my friend. Experience. I barely use water conditioner.

Actually they will only weigh between 2 - 4.5lbs in the wild. As for size. They reach 2ft in captivity. They are not large mouth bass. And even large mouth bass don’t keep growing all their lives. No fish does. They all reach a max size then discontinue growing.

@@TheFishCorner OK. Just something I heard and believed. I mean I knew obviously no fish grew forever, but I thought they might grow slight fractions of millimeters or something. Anyway, they certainly are more beautiful than big mouth in coloration. 👍

I don’t see why not. I don’t have any predator fish that would eat them. I do have guppies in the pond though, to eliminate mosquito breeding.

African cichlid sand is sand sold at Petco or Petsmart. It has a higher PH because it has crushed coral in it. So it keeps the PH where it needs to be. It’s made by caribsea.

The panther was stressed out because I put the blue line grouper back in there… but I had to remove him once again the next morning. I’m now trying to rehome him. He’s nothing but trouble. As for the eel… who knows. Only time will tell. Tess is still small compared to the size he can get.

Double checking the increments on the syringe, I assumed that’s what they meant. I might have misread it, the shit went from 10 - 100. From the looks of it, the whole syringe is 1cc. That said, who gives af. 🤷🏾‍♂️ the point was to give your fish vitamins. And right on though. I appreciate it.
